Golden Corral

The steak was excellent along with the pot roast and the macaroni and cheese was amazing. The ribs were dry and not as good as I thought they would be. They were serving turtle cheesecake which was pretty good but my favorite in the desserts was the bread pudding which I added Carmel sauce to mine from the ice cream section The pot roast and the steak were my favorite out of the meats and the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy were excellent too. I usually love fried raviolis but I didn’t care too much for those. Overall I was more than satisfied without dinner tonight definitely coming back and Yvonne our server was really good and kept checking on us making sure we didn’t need anything as well as clearing the plates continually which suprised me cause the servers aren’t usually as attentive as she was

This was the second Golden Corral I had ever been to. The first was a Tucson Arizona and this one Tracy California. We had a retirement function there so there was not a lot of eating for me because I got there late just a lot of speeches LOL! When I did get the opportunity I filed the facility to be very clean the food was outstanding especially the fish. I looked for the salad bar but it was located so far away and not in the middle I did not get that chance. But I will return because the salad bar and look pretty darn tasty. but everything was arranged conveniently. ! So if you're traveling through Tracy California my advice would be just stop there and have a great meal. You can't go wrong.

Nice to see that it was extremely packed in a Sunday. The server was nice and on top of everything as far as cleaning up and keeping our drinks filled. I just wish they wouldn't be so greedy with serving the streaks. I literally waited 15 minutes each time for a steak due to the long line and all I wanted was rare. Food choices are always plentiful but the fried chicken is always dry. They really need to move the green beans back closer to the corn. The price for food is ridiculous. And when I asked for another table the girl didn't like it much but hey we are not skinny people and it's the least they could do. They need a bigger location for sure. 2 star for service and the 3rd for the decent tasting food. They can do better I believe.
